Guests will have access to multiple telescopes and the observatory's historic telescope dome, giving you the chance to view breathtaking celestial objects such as the Moon's craters, bright planets, Jupiter's moons, colorful nebulae, sparkling star clusters, and distant galaxies.
Observing sessions are hosted by members of the Shreveport-Bossier Astronomical Society, who love sharing their knowledge and helping visitors experience the excitement of astronomy firsthand. Perfect for girls who love science, adventure, and trying something new, this event is a chance to connect with friends, ask questions, take amazing photos, and experience the wonder of seeing the universe through a telescope.
