Our volunteers are amazing and we want to make sure they are shown the proper love and appreciation they deserve! Nominate a volunteer who has shown outstanding contributions and has made a difference in girls' lives. Anyone can submit a nomination to recognize an outstanding volunteer. This includes other volunteers, caregivers, and more! Caregivers can also help their Girl Scouts nominate their favorite volunteer.

The Appreciation Pin is awarded to individuals because of outstanding service to at least one service unit that is above and beyond the expectations for the position held and contributes to the council’s goals and objectives.
The honor pin is awarded to a candidate who has provided outstanding service to two or more service units that is beyond the job requirements and contributes to the council goals and objectives.
This candidate has provided outstanding individual service that benefits the total council or the entire Girl Scout organization- the service performed is truly above and beyond the call of duty; that no other recognition would be appropriate.
This candidate is already a Thanks Badge recipient who continues to serve the council or the entire Girl Scouting organization with outstanding service.
This candidate has performed beyond expectations for the position to deliver the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls using the national program portfolio, or the candidate’s performance has supported the council’s goals in one or more of the following areas: Membership Development/Community Cultivation, Volunteer Relations and Support, Program Leadership and Governance, Fund Development and Council Support Service. The candidate actively recognizes, understands, and practices the values of inclusive behavior.
For an individual or organization, work that has a lasting effect on the lives of girls and women.

For a registered adult volunteer who has served one full year prior to nomination. Recognition for someone who has provided creative and exceptional service that benefits the council. Can be only awarded once to a volunteer. Please provide supporting information on the nomination form.
For a first-time troop leader that stands out. Making a significant contribution to her troop, the girls, or the council. Recognition for service beyond what is expected of the position. Must list 2 supporters on the submission form.
Recognition for outstanding leadership qualities in the delivery of the Girl Scout Promise and Law. For a troop leader that provides stand-out leadership for her troop, the girls, or the council beyond what is expected of the position. Must list 2 supporters on the submission form.
For individuals, community groups, or businesses for a significant contribution to a troop or the council.
For community groups or businesses for sponsorship of a troop or the council. Up to three per troop.
Recognize those who have been with Girl Scouts as adult volunteers for the appropriate years. Note: these are not for years of membership but for years of troop or Service Unit leadership.
