Spend the morning giving back to animals in need during Love Animals: Shelter Volunteer Day 🐶🐱 Girl Scouts and their families are invited to volunteer at the Lafayette Animal Shelter & Care Center, helping support the hardworking staff and the pets waiting for their forever homes. Depending on shelter needs, volunteers may assist with simple tasks such as preparing enrichment toys, organizing donations, cleaning outdoor spaces, or helping with general shelter support activities. Scouts will also learn about responsible pet care, animal adoption, and how communities can help protect animals. This event is a wonderful opportunity for Girl Scouts to practice compassion, community service, and responsibility while supporting local animals.
