Join us for an exciting day celebrating Girl Scouts Love State Parks at Jimmie Davis State Park! This annual celebration encourages girls to get outside, discover the wonders of nature, and strengthen their connection to the outdoors.
Throughout the day, participants will have the opportunity to engage in interactive activities that highlight environmental stewardship, outdoor recreation, and the natural resources that make Louisiana's state parks so special. Planned experiences will include guided outdoor exploration, nature-based learning opportunities, hands-on activities, all designed to encourage curiosity, leadership, and a love of the outdoors.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and outdoor activities, including comfortable walking shoes. Participants are encouraged to wear sunscreen and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout our time at the park. Food will not be provided, so please plan accordingly.
