Join fellow Girl Scouts at Chicot State Park for a morning dedicated to wildlife, conservation, and outdoor fun! Participants will enjoy an engaging presentation about the endangered Whooping Crane, one of North America's most remarkable birds, and learn how conservation efforts are helping protect this species.
After the presentation, girls can participate in interactive games and activities designed to reinforce what they've learned while having fun outdoors.
This program will take place at Pavilion 1, located near the playground and splash pad. Bring your curiosity and adventurous spirit as we gather to celebrate the natural beauty and wildlife of Louisiana's state parks.
Please note that food will not be provided at this event, so participants should eat a good meal before arriving. We also recommend bringing a refillable water bottle, wearing sunscreen, dressing appropriately for the weather, and wearing comfortable shoes for outdoor exploration and activities.
