Come on an exciting adventure traveling across the world and learn about different traditions, food, and ways of life for Girl Scouts and Girl Guides in other countries! This year, we will focus on South Korea, Mexico, Sweden, and the Philippines. In addition to country specific activities, we will also enjoy Girl Scout favorites like archery, hiking around camp, and swimming.
This camp is open to Girl Scout Brownies who have completed 2nd grade through Ambassadors. No tagalongs or bus transportation. Parent volunteers are needed but not guaranteed to be with your daughter.
Dates: July 7 - 11 for campers (this is an overnight camp); July 6-11 for volunteers
Location: Camp Wawbansee, 610 Girl Scout Rd. Simsboro, LA. 71275
Cost: Campers - $140; Volunteers - $50
For those who wish to apply for financial assistance, you MUST fill out the Summer Camp Financial Aid form PRIOR to registering your girl scout for camp. You will not be considered for financial aid until the form is completed.
