Eco Day is an immersive environmental learning adventure designed for Girl Scouts! Girls will identify aquatic macroinvertebrates from pond water samples using simple tools typically found at home, such as magnifying glasses and spoons, to assess water quality and ecosystem health.
Participants will enjoy exploring Vermilionville's 23acre historic village, filled with restored homes, cultural demonstrations, and rich regional history. The beautiful, treecovered setting provides the perfect backdrop for a full day of handson environmental discovery.
Girl pricing includes admission to Vermilionville, macroinvertebrate sampling, plant seeders, a raingarden tour, a boat tour, a Tshirt upcycletogrocerybag project, nature journals, a nature craft of their choice, and a gift from the gift shop.
