Troop 767 welcomes you to step back in time and discover how Cajun ancestors celebrated Mardi Gras through tradition, costume, and community. We'll create masks to hide our identities, then set off on a lively courir around the camp. Along the way, we'll collect ingredients-yes, including a chicken we'll have to chase and catch! We'll wrap up the day by coming together to enjoy a hearty chicken and sausage gumbo. Come dressed in your favorite Mardi Gras attire and closed toe shoes, bring a water bottle, and let us know if you have any dietary issues. (The chicken will be someone dressed up not the animal.)
