Discover the Power Beneath Your Feet: Plate Tectonics in Action Join our friends at the Lafayette Science Museum for a hands-on STEM event that explores the dynamic forces shaping our planet! Guests will learn how Earth's plates move, collide, and reshape the surface over time through interactive demonstrations and real rock samples. Included in regular museum admission, $10 for girls and $15 for adults.
Perfect for curious minds of all ages, this event will uncover the science behind earthquakes, volcanoes, and mountain formation. Don't miss this chance to dive into geology and experience the shifting Earth like never before! These activities are included with general admission.
STEM Saturday activities are sponsored by a grant from Halliburton and are included with regular museum admission. Activities are open-ended allowing visitors to come and go while touring exhibits and the planetarium.
