Nora Duncan Girl Scout Memorial Fund
The Girl Scout Memorial fund was created in December 2016 as a way to honor the life and legacy of Nora Duncan.
Nora was Girl Scouts of Louisiana - Pines to the Gulf's Board Chair for the past three years, and graciously served on our board since July 2008. She served on numerous board committees, such as the Board Development Committee, the Executive Committee, and the Policy Committee; and was chair of the Board Development Committee. She was also a delegate to the last National Council meeting in 2013.
Nora was a dedicated Girl Scout throughout her life. She participated in Girl Scouts as a girl for 12 years and earned the Curved Bar award (what is now the Gold Award).
Nora was the epitome of a Girl Scout. She will be greatly missed by her Girl Scout family and her community, but we strive to honor her by giving other girls the chance to experience Girl Scouting.
Donate today to give girls a lifetime of leadership.
