    Today, October 31, we celebrate the birthday of Juliette Gordon Low, a pioneering woman from Savannah, Georgia, who more than a century ago started the Girl Scout Movement. As the founder of the largest girl leadership development organization in the world, Juliette had, and through her legacy continues to have, an extraordinary influence on the lives of millions of girls across the country.     Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos recently took to Twitter to ask his followers what worthy causes he should support through philanthropy, and we've got the answer! From the classroom to the boardroom to the caucus room, the need for female leadership has never been clearer or more urgent than it is today, and only Girl Scouts has the expertise to give girls and young women the tools they need to empower themselves. Sign our petition and tell Mr. Bezos that if he truly wants to invest in the future, he needs to support Girl Scouts.

    Every three years, Girl Scouts gather together at the National Council Session and Convention to reinvigorate our Movement, celebrate our accomplishments and chart our future. This year our G.I.R.L 2017 Convention is Oct. 4-8 in Columbus Ohio! 

    G.I.R.L. 2017 is for every G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader)™ who wants to stand up, take charge, and change the world. Want to be a part of the Movement? Register here! Early bird rate deadline ends July 16 at 5 a.m.
